How to calculate NPS

Formula

Count promoters (9 or 10), passives (7 or 8), and detractors (0 to 6). NPS = ((promoters - detractors) / all answers) x 100. Round to the nearest integer. Passives stay in the denominator. They are not promoters and they are not detractors.

Worked arithmetic, not a market statistic: 50 promoters, 30 passives, and 20 detractors. (50 - 20) / 100 x 100 = 30. TrustNPS applies this to surveys sent in the last 90 days and publishes the score only at 30 answers or more.
